A full charge takes about 45 minutes. A fully charged MonkeyTape can play for up to approximately six hours.
-
Make sure the earphone plug is fully inserted, the volume wheel is not at minimum, LED 2 indicates playback, and the microSD card has valid audio files. Try pausing and resuming playback.
-
Wait up to a minute, try a different USB‑C cable that supports data, use another port, reinsert the microSD card, and confirm the card is FAT32. Restart your computer if needed.
-
This usually indicates a problem reading the microSD card or files. Reformat the card to FAT32 and try again with a few known‑good tracks.
-
Double‑click the Play button to enter the menu. Use RW to change EQ and FF to change playback mode. Click Play to save, or wait 10 seconds for MonkeyTape to save and exit automatically.
